Kind of desperation this ..

does anyone know who distributed the "Bulletin 1000" video tapes which used to play on the TV in a lot of indie. computer game shops ?.

We used to get a new tape every month with "new" game previews and stuff, i used to love watching it the day we got it but of course by day 31 of hearing it 8 hours a day, 6 days a week it got kinda annoying !.

I *wish* i would of kept them all ... i think they would make *perfect* retro viewing now.

How long did it last?

The two eps doing the rounds were great to watch!

Well, i remember having over 100 videotapes of it in the shop.

Just wish i had them now.

Normally it would come out once a month but towards the end of the 8-bit's life it would come every 2 months or so ..

They got a lot more professional with some nice video effects - you know, just wasn't so cheesey.

I remember one episode had "Sewer Shark" for the MCD advertised - it was fantasticly done and had this really cool music track "Surfing With The Alien" by Joe Satriani ! - went out and bought the album (of the same name !) just cuz of it.

Restarted this, as expected my daughter power cycled the PC.

The first episode is amazing! Its like watching one of my media studies productions from the Sixth Form and earlier!!

Not had a proper look at the 2nd episode, it looked like they've ditched the geezer and gone for full on voice over footage.

Superb stuff, a real shame there aren't more videos about - I'd be more than happy to capture and convert to .mpg.

guys, I've been seeding a torrent called computer shows for a couple of weeks now - it's got a couple of these on including the first one. Is it me, or is the presenter crap! He spends more time reading from the cards than he does looking a the camera. Needs to stick to voice over - which the second on I have is. Pretty entertaining though.

I've been seeding these for ages (5.86GB uploaded), I deserve more! Are there any?
