I have an oldish TV which I use to play my games on. Every now and then it goes on the fritz and the colours get inverted. Greens become red, blues become yellow etc (this is important for the story). I had had a good gaming day having completed Splatterhouse 3 and later that evening finally finishing FF7. It was around 11:30pm and I was just about heading for bed when I decided to have a few rounds of Outrun 2 to see if I could beat my record. I had a few goes and then wanted to see what my fasted time was. So I go to my profile hoping to call up the table. I click on it and it says that I have played it for 34 hours. I smile, impressed with my determination to race around the same tracks for so long. Anyway, I click on the “red” button to go back and I get the message “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE YOUR PROFILE?” Now I’m panicking slightly but I know that I just have to press the cancel button which on my screen was “blue”. Next thing I get is………”DON’T SWITCH OFF YOUR XBOX WHILE YOUR PROFILE IS DELETED.” And that was that. 34 Hours of gameplay down the tubes all because my TV’s colours were wonky.

Does anyone know of a way to recover/undelete save files on an unmodded XBOX. I know I can do it on the PS1 using the Xploder CD so I’m hoping to be able to do the same here. Thanks
