Title: MK DS lap times

brucepingsteen - April 18, 2006 05:51 PM (GMT)
I was wondering if some of you guys could post lap times from the time trials so i can get an idea of how crap i am :D .

I keep trying the Desert Hills course (can't remember why i started on this one) and so far my best times are.

Single Lap = 26.535
Total Time = 1.27.987

If other course times are posted i'll give it a go to try and match them.

Thanks.

Which driver/car are you using?

Eep. I'm at 1.35 now, but the Staff Ghost is only 1.31, and it's Rob for gooners sake! You're faster than the Staff Ghost by around 4 seconds. And the fastest unlockable character.

I may just go to bed...

The trick to a very fast lap is when to use the boosts.
Thats why a kart with high items comes in handy.(3 boosts)
When you go downhill past the vertical caterpillar things at the bottom turn slightly and just as you hit the dirt press boost.
You can kinda line yourself up straight with the finish and miss out the last 3 bends.
Also you need the maximum start burst or you've no chance.

Btw single lap is now down to 26.502. :)

That caterpillar? He's Pokey. I think he's a cactus more than anything.

That's a very interesting tip you've given. I need to try that :D
