Title: Christmas Exhibit

boyo - October 6, 2005 11:15 AM (GMT)
Chaps,

As the Retro Ball will be taking place in the run up to Chrismas (a truly nostalgic time in itself), I will be putting together an exhibit of Christmas themed games across as many formats under the Digital Arcade banner.

So games/systems I can think of to start things off are:

James Pond 2 - Amiga
Christmas Nights - Saturn
Christmas Lemmings - PC
Fire and Ice - Christmas Level - Amiga
Monty on the Run Christmas Level - Speccy/C64

What else?

Mike - October 6, 2005 11:20 AM (GMT)
The snowy bonus levels in Creatures 2? (C64)

Sonic Adventure goes all snowy with christmas trees if you set the Dreamcast date to 25th December. There are a few other games that do similar date based things (Ready 2 Rumble springs to mind, though I couldn't swear by it).

Anyone got the Fire and Ice Amiga Christmas demo that I could have/buy?

Cheers.

Didn't Secret of Mana have something xmas in it?

Sureshot - October 9, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
Do you specifically want Xmas or just snow?

Else you could add things like Steep Slope Sliders, Winter Heat... the German stages on Road Rash 3, etc.

boyo - October 10, 2005 11:45 AM (GMT)
Lol - was thinking more of Christmas (was also thinking The Thing could be a contender but then thought again... :P ).

Bidding on a Saturn, 3d controller and Christmas Nights on E-bay as I type....
