Well its quite funny seeing what happened to those save by the bell characters.
I dont know what happened to the 'pretty boy' but the dork is obviously a comedian nowadays and last i heard was doing well.
Tiffini Amber Thiesen (totally bad spelling but you know who i mean) who was really fit was in Beverley Hills 90210 for a while and then some pretty crap b type films
As for the other one, the bimbo with horses teeth, she obviously was the lead in Showgirls. I think that one film totally killed her movie career and rightly so !

There was a plot?
Weekends used to equal the BMX Championships on telly, the chance to see the Ruffell brothers racing and freestyling. I think I still have a couple of seasons of that on Betamax.

LeeT - GREAT links! Enjoyed reading through those... ahhhh the memories. Peter Simon doing 'Double Dare' on Going Live! What a genius he was... never a weekend went by without the poor chap ending up on his arse covered in GUNGE! Okay, it was showmanship but it was BRILLIANT!
Out of curiousity, I would love to know somewhere I may be able to find downloadable theme tunes of a number of the the shows, most notably 'On The Waterfront' and the unmentioned WAC90 (Wacaday spin off presented by Michaella Strachan). Does anybody remember this show and it's theme tune? EXCELLENT STUFF!
Robbo :D

Robbo - Glad you like the links! I just wish that Paul would update his No73 site as it hasn't been touched for about four years. :(
I think TV Cream have some theme tunes to download but I'm not sure whether they have the ones you mentioned?

Does anyone remember a Sunday morning cartoon about a mole ? I know it's not much to go on, but I used to grab my duvet at something like 6 in the morning, go downstairs to the living room & camp out on the sofa. Ah, wonderful days...

The only mole that springs to mind is the one in OX TALES but he wasn't exactly the main character.
Sorry, not much help.
@LeeT - I'll take a look at TV Cream although I think I've already been there :( I even had a reply from TIMMY MALLET himself on a query I made on WAC '90 and it's theme tune. He said 'the tune was never commercially released' but that doesn't mean someone out there didn't transfer it from VHS. Fingers crossed.
Robbo.

ToxieDogg - October 27, 2005 12:11 AM (GMT)
The short lived Toxic Crusaders cartoon was clearly the best thing to ever hit Saturday morning TV. :P
Sonic Quack - October 27, 2005 07:37 AM (GMT)
Oddly, my must prominent memory is the purple dinosaur (way before Barney!) on the counter in Swap Shop.

PS Did it have a name?
